Kauhistuttavaa tietoa paljastetusta anonyymistä:

2008-10-23 07:04:33 - A Woburn, Massachusetts man was put on probation for one year for disrupting a religious service at the Church of Scientology of Boston.

In the Boston Municipal Court, Gregg Housh, 32, admitted to sufficient facts to warrant a finding of guilt on charges of disturbing the peace and disturbing religious services for leading a February 10, 2008 disturbance at the Boston Church of Scientology. Housh was given one year of probation, the terms of which include a court order to stay away from
the Church of Scientology of Boston's locations in the Back Bay and the South End.

Housh is the self-proclaimed leader of the Boston cell of an underground cyber-terrorist group called 'Anonymous.' He is the second member of Anonymous to face criminal charges in the past week for harassment against a Scientology Church. On Friday October 17th, The U.S. Department of Justice announced the filing of federal criminal charges against New Jersey Anonymous member Dmitriy Guzner related to the January, 2008 attempted destruction of websites owned by the Church of Scientology. Guzner has agreed to plead guilty to felony charges that could send him to prison for ten years.

At today's hearing, Boston Municipal Court Judge Thomas C. Horgan warned Housh that if he violates any of the terms of his probation he could face one year in the House of Correction.

Tiedotteesta voimme päätellä seuraavia asioita:

1) Ex-anonyymi on Gregg Housh, joka on ehdonalaisella.

2) Gregg häiritsi uskonnollista palvelua skientologiarakennuksessa.

3) Gregg on julistanut olevansa Bostonissa toimivan kyberterroristisolun johtaja.

4) Gregg on myöntänyt syyllisyytensä.

Onko Housh ollut oikeasti näin huono henkilö?

Lähde näille väitteille on skientologien oma tiedote. Mitä voimme päätellä tiedotteesta? Ainakin sen, että siinä hieman säädellään totuutta.

Mielenosoituksia valvonut poliisi on kommentoinut, ettei häirintäsyyte kestä päivänvaloa.

Piirikunnan oma syyttäjä ei ollut innokas jatkamaan oikeudessa:

Also in today’s proceedings, Suffolk prosecutors affirmatively moved to dismiss an additional charge of criminal harassment against Housh. After a review of the evidence, prosecutors determined they could not meet their burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt on this charge and could not in good faith move forward with it.

Houshia ei siis lopulta syytetty skientologien häiritsemisestä, sillä siihen ei ollut tarpeeksi näyttöä.

Ja miksi skientologit laittoivat syytettä Houshin niskaan? Siksi, että hän oli se mies joka kävi ilmoittamassa viranomaisille tulevasta mielenosoituksesta. Sama käytäntö on käytössä Suomessa. Mielenilmauksille pitää hakea lupaa, ja tässä yhteydessä täytyy todistaa henkilöllisyys. Näin skientologit saivat lopulta tietoonsa ainakin yhden nimen. Ja kas kummaa, juuri tätä henkilöä vastaan nostetaan syyte.

Aivan, Fair Game elää ja voi hyvin.

Housh suostui lopulta tiettyyn järjestelyyn. Hän ei saisi mennä kahden osoitteen lähelle, eli kahden skientologiarakennuksen viereen. Näin koko oikeusjärjestely saatiin päätökseensä. Hän ei myöntänyt syyllisyyttä mihinkään syytteistä. Virallisesti päätöksen lähestymiskiellosta antoi lopulta "probation office", eli tavallaan skientologien tiedote pitää paikkansa "ehdollista" sanan kohdalla.
Näin Houshin ei enää tarvinnut maksaa lakimiehelleen, eikä tuhlata aikaa oikeudessa. Kuten L. Ron Hubbard on kirjoittanut, lakitoimilla ei tavoitella voittoa vaan kohteen elämän hankaloittamista.
